The Purposeful Hiker

I used to be a runner and I had goals to complete 1000 race miles before turning 50. My passion for running started when I was 43, running became my world. After a year of injuries in 2015, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis my world would change forever. My blog is not to seek sympathy, it's about my new journey to shift my goals and reshape my life. Without having big goals and dreams it's easy to just make excuses. Shift your life, shape your life, and Be_again!

What an epic day! Almost there...Beer? Sure...

And away I go...WOW that climb out of the NOC was just brutal.
No filter required! Welcome to the MST which is now in my backyard @ 6200ft. Don't worry AT you'll always be my first love.
Thankful to call WNC my new home...Trails everywhere! Thinking about starting to add peak bagging to my list.

IDK about tomorrow...what I do know is that all of this is getting in my belly!
Broken toe, right foot, just got stung by a hornet a half a mile ago, left calf, and I lost my phone charger, power bank, and AT passport...my WTF facial expression. #ineedabeer
